Charles Parks was born in Onancock, Virginia in 1922 and served in the Air Force during World War II. He was educated at the University of Delaware and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. He is well-known for his sculptures depicting the human form. Animal figures are not commonly seen.
