Condition: Excellent condition, original paint and gilt surface with varnish finish, now-oxidized.

Carved from a single block of pine, the Indian bust portrays a sense of strength and stature through its well-executed carving. The piece is made by a well-trained craftsman who most likely carved ship mast-heads and other figural trade signs for a living.
