Large Arrow Weathervane, American, ca. 1880-1890. Copper with a zinc-coated iron arrowhead.  It retains a wonderful verdigris surface with traces of a later paint.  The arrow is impressive in size and scale, the strongest feature being the cast iron arrowhead.
