American Military Hall Tree

Cast iron, polychrome painted.
Over-all in great condition, some paint restoration from the early 20^th c.
This finely cast hall tree embodies the patriotic sentiment felt during the centennial era. Painted in red, white and blue with a black ground color highlighted with gold, the rack displays military swords and rifles flanking a shield-shaped mirror. The umbrella holder with a belt-form strap and drip-pan is supported by a cast iron base with the original penny-shaped feet.
