A Rare Chippendale Marble Top Serving Table

Probably Portsmouth, New Hampshire, ca. 1780. Mahogany, marble; secondary wood, white pine. Over-all in great condition, original marble top.
The serpentine, molded edge marble top is resting on a rectangular base with a carved, beaded skirt-molding supported by square, molded tapered legs joined by cross stretchers.
Provenance: Private collection, Pennsylvania. Pook & Pook, Inc., June 19, 2009.
