A Folk Art Carved Wood Watch Hutch in the Form of Napoleon with Eagle

Over-all in excellent condition, retaining an old, if not original painted surface. Minor wear commensurate with age and use.
Raised on a carved platform, Napoleon is depicted standing on a pedestal carved with a monument bearing the monogram, “N.” The eagle forms a stoppered lid that fits atop the column with watch hutch opening, the reverse carved with date, “1820.”
