Provenance: Descended through original owners from Essex, Connecticut; purchased at an on-site auction in Killingworth, CT.
A rare series of Sceggel family records decorated with bird, floral and foliate designs by the hand of Moses, Connor, Jr., a schoolteacher working in central New Hampshire. The Sceggel family were one of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire’s earliest settlers.
