Over-all in fine condition, retaining original cast brass hardware, portion of back right foot facing restored, other minor imperfections customary to age and use.

With a notable provenance, this Queen Anne block-front kneehole bureau table has exceptionally tall feet supporting a case with wonderful figured mahogany. The rounded blocking with minimal carved embellishments exemplifies the restrained designs favored by Boston’s mid-18th century cabinetmakers.
