Having survived in exceptional condition, this Odd Fellows Cornucopia was created for the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF) in the late 19th century. These carved polychrome-painted cornucopias or “horn of plenty” were filled with fruits and vegetables symbolizing the groups’ core beliefs of friendship, love, and truth. The cornucopia itself is a symbol of abundance, representing the charitable benefits and support offered by the fraternal order.
