Condition: Excellent condition, faint border edge from previous mat, otherwise evenly toned.
During years from 1890-1919, Hassam and his wife spent a fair amount of time during the summer months living in the Isles of Shoals, off the coast of New Hampshire and fequently visited towns such as Gloucester. The Colonial Church of Gloucester was among one of Hassam’s favorite subject matters to paint. This view is one of many examples painted.
